How is a palm tree removed or trimmed/cleaned?

If the palm tree to be removed is in a confined space, we can carefully dismantle the tree using rigging ropes and pulley systems, or hand held pruning and passing down of the fronds and then blocking down the tree trunk in very small sections into a small drop zone. All done to ensure there are no damages to any infrastructure when doing the palm tree removal.

If, on the other hand, there is enough space, our palm tree removal experts can simply fell the palm tree from the base in the exact direction required and then remove the palm tree in large pieces from the site.

If you wish to trim/prune the palm tree we will also use careful rigging systems with ropes and pulleys to safely lower down the large fruits and pods to the ground and hand hold each individual palm tree frond to make sure it can be dropped in the right spot and doesn’t cause any damage to the surrounding area.

Lets have a look at what these levels mean:

A Climbing Arborist who perform the tree pruning and tree removal of trees is also qualified to assess trees from an aerial position. The minimum level required by most councils when hiring an Arborist is Level 3. A Climbing Arborist can detect more problems through an aerial inspection than from the ground.
A Consulting Arborist is one who assesses trees from the ground and can provide Arborists Reports(Tree Reports and Tree Assessments), Tree Protection Plans, Risk Mitigation Reports and Tree Pruning Specifications. These arborist reports identify the species of tree, health and safety, defects or diseases, life expectancy and photographs to support that information. These reports also have the recommendations whether the tree should be pruned or removed. Some councils require these reports if approval to remove the tree is required if the tree is outside the exemption zone.
